Patrick has extensive experiences in the investment industry, and is now Head of Discretionary Equities, Asia Pacific of a top-five global private bank.
Patrick began his career with pre-IPO restructuring, private-equity investment, and strategic consulting work with Arthur Andersen and A.T. Kearney in the 1990's. Then he served various investment roles in Legg Mason International Equities and its predecessor Citigroup Asset Management in the Greater New York, Singapore and Hong Kong offices. Prior to his current job, Patrick was the Deputy Chief Investment Officer of China Life Franklin Asset Management, and was earlier a portfolio manager at Mirae Asset Global Investment Management.
Patrick was an officer of the Harvard Business School Association of Hong Kong in 2005-2007, and he chaired the organizing committee of the three-day China Business Strategy Seminar in Macau in 2007. He was also a member of the Association's investment advisory committee for the non-profit executive education scholarship from 2009 to 2011.
Patrick graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (BBA with first class honors) in 1993, and obtained his MBA from Harvard Business School in 2001.
